The game’s theme song is a remix of Soldiers of Sorrow, the trademark song played at the Battle of Jaburo, a similar remix played during the Perfect Mission video which celebrated the franchise’s history. The game was later followed up by an updated release on the Playstation Portable called Gundam Vs Gundam Next PLUS which features additional units. As part of the franchise’s 30th Anniversary Project, the series features Gundams from all of the animated series and movies as well as several OVAs.
Gundam Vs Gundam Next is the sequel to the original Gundam Vs Gundam arcade game, released in March 18, 2009.
